Job Opening: CNC Machine Operator
Description
Shifts: 12 hour shifts; Flexibility is required as you’re working rotating weekends
Shift times: 6pm to 6:30am
(open availability required as shifts will be given after 2 weeks of training on a day shift 6am – 2:30pm)
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating a given number of plastic blow molding machines (including in-line equipment), and makes necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner.
Machine Operator Primary Duties
• Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned
• Properly fill out and turn in all daily quality and production paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Keep pallet tags and counts accurate.
• Operate plant machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain maintenance logs, records, and other documentation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain clear effective communication with others in order to produce maximum results with minimum hassle.
• Communicate observed safety, production or quality problems to Supervisor.
• Adhere to Lock out/Tag out protocol.
• Observe all safe practice guidelines.
Requirements
• Ability to adapt to business demands
• Bend, pull/push up to 35 lbs consistently, stand, walk.
• Great attitude and ability to want to learn to work in a team environment
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Manufacturing experience minimum 2 years
• Ability to read, write understand and communicate in English
