Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk to join our team in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support our office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize office files and records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members.
- Assist with data entry and updating databases.
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and memos.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering office supplies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a clerk or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
