Job Opening: Janitorial

ProLogistix now hiring Part-Time Custodial Engineer in East Memphis!!!

1st Shift – Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat – 8am-12pm

2nd Shift – Sun, Wed, Thus, Fri, Sat – 6pm-10pm

• Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • General cleaning:
  • Sweep and mop floors, including production areas, break rooms, and restrooms.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, such as machinery, countertops, signs, tables, and furniture.
  • Empty trash cans and recycle bins regularly, inside the offices and break room.
  • Empty cigarette receptacle outside the office.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and break room, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Pick up trash and debris in parking lot area, along the gates, at curb, near designated smoking areas, in trailer areas, and any area on campus.
  • Dust warehouse walls.
  • Blow down the eye wash stations.
  • Clean windows and door glass.
  • Dispose and/or recycle of any boxes in the office.
  • Dust and clean water dispensers. Check for empty containers and replace them as needed.
  • Clean microwave and refrigerator as needed.
  • Refill soap and hand sanitizer dispensers as needed.
  • Clean, dust, and mop inside of offices as requested.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies are properly labeled per OSHA requirements. See Marcal’s Safety Specialist to address any concerns and/or get labels.
  • Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed inside and outside plant.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Notify Maintenance Manager or Management staff regarding any custodial concerns for assistance, such as but not limited to cleaning issues/concerns, restocking supplies, needed office repairs inside/outside building, etc.
