Job Opening: Sewer

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR SEWING MACHINE OPERATORS!

Shifts:  1st shift     4:00am – 2:30pm    $16.25/hr

             2nd shift   2:30pm – until   $17.00/hr

Workdays:  Monday – Thursday

Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Sewing Machine Operator Job Responsibilities: 

• Operate an industrial sewing machine, performing a variety of stitch types 
• Visually inspect subassemblies and finished goods per quality standards
• Apply appropriate product, safety, and regulatory labels
• Sew test given – no experience necessary
• Operate scanners for traceability.
• Maintain work area, tooling, and 5s expectations
• Report concerns to leadership 

Sewing Machine Operator Job Requirements:

• Good Attendance
• Follow directions.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more.
• Overtime will be required, to support business needs.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to material handling equipment, moderate noise, and the use of protective eye equipment.
