Job Opening: CNC Programmer

Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a CNC Programmer job in Graham, NC. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for Program tooling drawings for CNC Hotwire cutting. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Pay: $DOE

Shift: 7am – 3pm M-F

Responsibilities for this CNC Programmer job include:

• Upload drawings to the Hotwire computer system.
• Program tooling drawings for CNC Hotwire cutting.
• Load Styrofoam blocks (up to 20 lbs) onto the CNC machine.
• Perform necessary cutting operations using the CNC machine.
• Sand and paint the cut pieces to meet quality standards.
• Recycle leftover foam materials after each project.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following workplace health and safety policies.                              

Qualifications for this CNC Programmer job include:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and work with various measurements (lbs, oz, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, and calculate percentages using a calculator.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs or 1/3 of body weight, whichever is less.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

• Company-supplied PPE, except for steel-toe boots.
• New hires must provide their own steel-toe boots with metatarsal clips (company supplies the clips).
• After 90 days, the company offers up to $90 every two years for safety boots or shoes.

Performance Goals:

• Meet production targets with minimal or no rejects.
• Pass SOP audits regularly.
• Ensure the workspace is clean and presentable at all times.
