Experienced Reach Truck Operators needed in LaPorte!

Job Specifics:

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for inbound orders, outbound orders, inventory management, storage and accurate documentation of packaged material from a conveyor line. Experience Requirements: Must have at least two years of reach truck experience in shipping & receiving warehouse environment.

Job duties:

• Take packaged material from line to container by operating a Stand UP Reach truck.

• Inspect container before loading

• Transfer heavy material to production line when needed

• Ensure all dock operations are performed in a safe matter

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment

• Occasionally assist the production line with special projects

• Inspect equipment daily and frequently

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday- Friday; Saturday as required. Shift 6:00am to 6:00pm rotating days and nights weekly

• Must have a minimum of 2 year operating a Reach truck in a warehouse environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and unassisted
• Able to work in multi temperature environments (non climate controlled)
• The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 85% of the time.
