Transfer Operator Laborers Needed in La Porte!

Job Specifics:

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with the transferring of material from railcar (hopper car) to silo.

The candidate will be responsible for transferring material to the requested silo.

Experience Requirements:

Minimal warehouse experience needed, training is available!

Job duties:

• Aligns hoses for the transfer of product both in and out of the silo tanks to and from rail car

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment

• Able to connect and disconnect cargo hoses

• Able to kneel and work in a kneeling position for a short period of time

• Assist and run FF&S (Form, Fill, & Seal) Machine inside the warehouse when needed.

Looking for candidate that is willing to work outdoors 80% of the time and 20 % indoors must be proficient on the forklift.

High paced environment with ability to handle machinery to transfer product into silos to keep packaging lines running.

Operator must pay attention to detail and ensure the quality of the product being handled.

Pay rate: $16.00/hr.

Schedule:

Monthly Rotating Shift Required.

3 shifts need to be available to work as follows. 6am to 2:30pm 2pm to 10:30pm 10pm to 6:30am.
