Job Opening: Packer/Planner/Shipper w/forklift experience

Packers with stand-up forklift experience needed in Irmo, SC!

Shift:   1st shift

Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm (Must be flexible to work weekends/overtime as needed)

Pay: $16.25 per hour

Packer Job Responsibilities: 

• Pack and fill orders shipped to customers.
• Operate forklift
• Prepare all shipping documentation.
• Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
• Examine and inspect boxes to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Break down cardboard boxes for recycling 
• Work efficiently and as part of the team
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in warehouse environment using a RF Scanner

Packer Job Requirements:

• Follow directions.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more.
• Experience operating a stand-up forklift
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Extremely physical work - manual labor
