Qualifications:
- 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical.
- Attention to detail is a top priority.
- Understanding of transportation documentation process an asset.
- Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Transcon department.
- Ensure a smooth and timely process flow, with the warehouse team.
- Accurate and timely data entry into the operational system Updating events code for reporting systems.
- Report the status/updates internally and to the customers.
- Ensure that customer’s freight is delivered on timely base.
- Ensure documents are timely sent to the customers or/ and internal team.
- Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards.
- Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors/ customers.
- Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies/requirements.
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
- Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Meet KPI standards, as per the company’s procedures/customs requirements. communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
- Open to work overtime as operation request, work weekend and on National Holidays You will be part of a professional/international, open, and enthusiastic team.
