Job Description Summary: Machine Operator

Shifts: Monday to Friday 2pm to completion (Saturdays as needed) 

Payrate $20.00 hr.

Prepares food processing machines for production

Performing the following duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Completes daily log of activities on an accurate and timely basis.

•Analyzes process-related problems by troubleshooting machines.

•Observes mechanical devices in operation.

•Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

•Starts devices to test their performance.

•Records and maintains information regarding equipment downtime.

•Maintains housekeeping in all areas where duties are assigned each day.

•Wears all required personal protective equipment.

Machine Operation Experience Required

Ability to communicate and read in English

External Basic Qualifications:

•Willing to work a flexible shift.

•Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.

•Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.

•Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
