ProLogistix has Assembly Operator opportunities available in Fairview, NC! These are long-term opportunities with the possibility of being hired on in a permanent capacity. As an Assembly Operator you will perform a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly operations by following specific work instructions. Responsible for component assembly in relays and switches for the aerospace industry.
Shifts & Pay:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm @ $17.61/hr
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm @ $19.37/hr
- 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:30am @ $19.37/hr
- Most shifts have OT available (work 10 hours/day and/or on Saturdays) as needed.
Assembly Operator Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions to manufacture quality products per Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Inspection of own work using quality standards and work instructions.
- Conduct pull tests as needed for particular operations.
- Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices.
- Inspect product to print.
- Complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product.
- May troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment.
- Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
- Read and perform tasks according to drawings.
- Follow safety standards and policies.

Requirements to work as a Assembly Operator with our client in Fairview, NC:
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.
- Experience with using measuring devices (gages, calipers, etc.) preferred.
- Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed.
- Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time.
- Must be able to operate machinery.
- Must be able to move between work zones.
- Must be proficient and able to understand written instructions in English language.
- Steel toe shoes required.
