Description
Hiring Food Line Processors in Reading, PA
7pm to 7am – Rotating Days – $19.75hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare kettles for startup and shut down processes.
- Operate kettles, monitor frying processes, and produce quality products in a high-pressure environment.
- Monitor, maintain, and change kettle oil as needed.
- Set up and change slicer heads.
- Coordinate kettle operations with basement prep rooms and packing areas.
- Oversee quality and food safety of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Remove waste from prep rooms, kettle rooms, and sorting areas and ensure all containers are emptied for the incoming shift.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with high-temperature equipment and performing physical tasks.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the job’s dynamic requirements.
Work Environment:
- High-paced environment with exposure to high-temperature oils, wet and oily surfaces, and noise.
