Job Opening: Machine Operater

Seeking Machine Operator that has 100% open availability! Awesome Performance to Hire opportunity! 

Pay: $18.75/hour

Shift: Rotating 12 hour shifts from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am.

(Similar to a Dupont Schedule) 

Location: Chester, VA

Responsibilities for a Machine Operator: 

• Set up machines for production, operate machinery safely, and monitor machine operations.
• Identify and resolve issues with the machinery or production processes to avoid production delays.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Work closely with other production staff to ensure smooth workflow and address any production issues.
• Contribute to the team effort
• Take work direction from others
• Obtain all materials necessary for the area to operate smoothly (packing supplies, stores items, etc.)
• Verify boards in the basement have the current film type and gauge being ran. Ensure correct grid size is being used for gauge being ran.
• Keep cutters running if reclaim is available (edge trim, offcuts, slabs, etc.)

Skills & Requirements for Machine Operator:

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
• Ability to understand machine operations, read technical manuals, read tape measure, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Strong focus on accuracy and safety to ensure quality production and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50pounds or more.
