Weekends and Night Shift Available! Fri-Sun 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM / Mon-Fri 06:00 PM – 02:30 AM| Pay rate $20.75 – $22.00

Job Functions
- Assist in training and development of DC associates and Leadership.
- Maintaining an effective, productive and professional relationship with peers, superiors, auditors, and others.
- Always represents the company in a positive & supportive manner.
- Keep records updated of training tracker.
- Deliver hands on training for all new PIT operators to ensure all new operators are validated to operate and attend Buddy Training Program.
- Conduct final evaluations to ensure all operators can safely operate on their own.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and proper communication regarding PIT (Power Industrial Truck) training to all operators.
- Coordinate and facilitate the on-boarding efforts of new hires/operators and new material
- Assist in creating, implementing and enforcing OSHA standards/programs and Safety SOPs to all Leadership and associates.
Job duties
- Perform employee training and track performance using performance tracking tools.
- DC metrics / productivity reporting
- Project leader for small/medium size projects within DC.
- Provide individual, group or classroom setting training and on the job training, for individuals or groups
- Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations and analysis, safety training, and safety reporting upon request to prevent reoccurrences.
- Prepare internal communications to ensure regulatory compliance within the facility.
- Responds to emergency situations and participates in safety incident investigations.
- Collaborate and build rapport within the DC that builds a solid foundation and leadership skills.
- Act as a resource and support the implementation and execution of the Safety and Training Programs.
Education/Experience:
- Ability to adapt in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Ability to understand WMS systems.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English & Spanish.
- Approachable personality.
- Understanding of documents and methods of training, processes, procedures, and standards.
- Intermediate MS Office experience to include but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to deliver material in classroom or floor setting; one on one or in group Light Office work (emails, reporting, tracking and building Training material)
- Steel Toed Shoes Required.
- 2 years’ Experience with Raymond Reach, Order Picker, Sit down & EPJ preferred.
- 2 years of experience in safety and training or a related field preferred
- Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity knowledge and or experience.
