Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse distribution center, including managing staff, ensuring efficient package sorting and loading, maintaining inventory accuracy, adhering to safety protocols, and meeting delivery deadlines, all while optimizing productivity and achieving operational goals within a UPS facility Required Skills and Qualifications: Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Warehouse Operations Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, sorting, loading, and shipping. Inventory Management: Proficiency in inventory control methods and accuracy. Computer Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and customers. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy packages while standing for extended periods.
