Job Opening: Facility Maintenance Tech

We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Tech in our Mooresville/Clayton, IN Market

Schedule: FRI – SUN   Shift: 6am -6:30pm with potential Overtime same day or next day

Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical.

Job Functions:

• include but not limited too: Perform Facility Maintenance tasks including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves and setups and other facilities related tasks
• Conduct minor troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment
• Document all work worker activities including labor, parts and inventory used and closing the work order to provide documented records of the maintenance performed.
• Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
• Complete pass down logs to inform co-workers of the operational status of the facilities.

Education/Experience:

2-4 years experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.

2-4 years experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems.

Functional Competencies:

Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC

Highly motivated, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, focused, self-starter and team player

Proficient experience in MS Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)

Experienced with hand and power tools Forklift experience (Raymond Reach, sit down, EPJ & Order Picker)

Repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, grasping, climbing and walking

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of OSHA Compliance and Being Bilingual
