Training hours 1st month will be Mon-Fri 7:30am – 3:30pm

Quality Technician
Performs a variety of operations to assist quality control judgments for in-process production, finished products and incoming raw materials under supervision of Quality/Logistics Manager. This position requests 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.

Essential Functions
• Keeps current with the production schedule in the Lab
• Closes out batches from the QC Lab
• Releases or corrects incoming lots from production in a timely manner
• Maintains and updates product folders within the QC Lab
• Build samples, including cutting material
• Works on special projects assign by Quality Manager
• Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment per established procedures
• Keeps in communication with quality manager and production manager on status of quality projects
• Runs samples as needed by customers, Marketing and Sales,and Innovation.
• Completes and maintains all required system inputs/transactions. Responsible for data integrity.
• Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
• Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods.
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
