Now Hiring Quality Laboratory Technician for 9-12 month contract in Phoenix (Tempe area)!

Pay:$25.00/hour
Schedule: 5:00am- 3:30pm Monday-Thursday
Contract duration would be 9-12 Month

Job Description

Performs a variety of operations to assist quality control judgments for in-process production, finished products and incoming raw materials under supervision of Quality/Logistics Manager.

This position requests 1- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.

Education/Experience Requirements:
•Associate or bachelor’s degree in applied science (with no lab experience).
•1-2 years in a laboratory setting.

Required Functions:
• Keeps current with the production schedule in the Lab
• Closes out batches from the Quality Lab.
• Releases or corrects incoming lots from production in a timely manner.
• Maintains and updates product folders within the QC Lab
• Builds samples, including cutting material.
• Works on special projects assign by Quality Manager.
• Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment per established procedures.
• Keeps in communication with quality manager and production manager on status of quality projects.
• Runs samples as needed by customers, Marketing and Sales, and Innovation.
• Completes and maintains all required system inputs/transactions. Responsible for data integrity.
• Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
• Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods.
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
