Job Opening: 1st Shift Machine Operator

If you have said yes to these items, you may be the Machine Technician we have been looking for. A Machine Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and operating vacuum coating machines. They are also responsible for cleaning and quality-checking their machinery to ensure everything works.

1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday, $18.50/hr (+$1/hr for every new machine learned)

Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana

Responsibilities/skills:

• Operate equipment, loading, and unloading rolls, maintaining a clean working environment, monitor sputtering chamber data, assist in quality control measures, and other routine tasks related to production.
• Machine operators will receive specialized training related to the sputtering process and must learn operating procedures.
• Support our goal to keep our workplace safe by observing OSHA/company safety policies and keeping their work areas clean and safe.
• Work well independently and keep other team members informed of progress, issues and/or concerns.
• Operators must be capable of working independently and must be able to lift heavy (50-70 lb) objects occasionally.
• Are comfortable using hand tools, power tools, crane or forklift.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills are a must!

Physical Requirements:

• Like standing, walking, and climbing ladders or stairways during your shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
