Job Objetive:
Design, implement, manage and coordinate the elaboration of safe products through the implementation of a food safety system, organizing and controlling the information for the monitoring and measurement of the system based on prevention and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science Engineering, Chemistry and/or equivalent education or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Food Safety and Personnel Management.
- Be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Attention to details
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Job Responsibilities:
- HACCP Monitoring Plan.
- PCC Annual Validation.
- Perform monthly self-inspections.
- Identify preventive, corrective and improvement actions to comply with the food safety system.
- Receive audits for certifications
- Ensuring the implementation of a food safety system.
- Pest control.
- Ensuring the implementation of the Food Defense System.
- Provide the level of implementation of the food security system.
- Verify that the cleaning master plan is complete.
- Implement projects that can be assigned by the company.
- Validation and verification of food safety system procedures.
