We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse/logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely and efficiently

Load and unload trucks, pallets, crates, and containers
-
Stack, store, and organize inventory in designated locations
-
Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of forklift equipment

Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures (OSHA compliant)

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records using scanning tools or inventory software
-
Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to fulfill orders and manage shipments

Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or shortages immediately

Requirements:

Proven experience as a forklift operator (minimum 1 year preferred)

Valid forklift certification/license (OSHA certification a plus)

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods

Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures

Basic math and reading skills; experience with inventory systems a plus

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines
