Hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Machine Operators
Shifts: Monday to Friday
1st shift – 5am to completion, 2nd Shift 3pm to completion
Payrate $16.00 hr.
Description:
A manufacturing/ production operator contributes to the success of setting up and operating assigned machines and statistical scales to pack the optimum number of quality packages of product. You can expect to be working on your feet the entirety of your shift near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. Manufacturing facilities are also large. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature is limited. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
• Operates and monitors machinery used in the production process
• Assist in set-up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate code dates, weights, and that products are put into appropriate bags.
• Participate in periodical activities such assisting with the cycle counts and physical inventories
• Check that products are dated and sealed with a minimum amount of wasted product and supplies.
• Ensure that products to be packed remain clean.

External Basic Qualifications:
•Willing to work a flexible shift.

Preferred Qualifications:
•High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
•At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
•At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
•At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory
