Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following.

• Possess the ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• 3 years of Experience as a welder in a fabrication manufacturing or structural environment.
• Sanitary welding.
• Clamp, hold Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind and/or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Maintains weld machines using preventative maintenance methods.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
• Weld pipe by method of tungsten in welding (TIG).
• Ability to maintain dimensions and tolerances to specifications. Ability to weld dissimilar metals. Ability to weld parts and structures that vary in size, shape and thickness.
• Knowledge of a wide range of welding principles, processes, and difficult techniques requiring complete penetration and fusion of base and filler metals.
• Performs other duties as assigned, such as fabricating, welding.
• Support the evaluation and troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions of complex electric controls.
• Check equipment used for welding and cutting, as well as the required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in welding or related field.
