Job Summary:
The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations of assigned department, ensuring productivity, accuracy, safety, and team performance meet company standards. This role acts as a liaison between warehouse staff and management, providing direction, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates within assigned department
- Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
- Train, mentor, and monitor staff to ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures
- Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate with other departments (e.g., logistics, customer service, production) to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Monitor employee performance and assist with scheduling and task assignments
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory systems
- Proficiency with warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
