Job Description: o Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, locate, stack, and count materials. o Load and unload trailers, moving materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles. o Transport products or materials to designated locations in the facility. o Prepare and complete orders for shipment according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship). o Verify the accuracy of shipment orders and documentation. o Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy. o Collaborate with the shipping team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards. o Assist with inventory control, including conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies. o Ensure accurate placement and tracking of inventory within the warehouse. o Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials. o Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor. o Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe working environment. o Complete necessary shipping and receiving documentation accurately and timely. o Report any damages, shortages, or other discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

Job Description:

• Process invoices: Receive, verify, and reconcile invoices from suppliers daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. • Pay bills: Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices for goods and services rendered. • Monitor expenses: Track company outgoings, maintain accurate expense records, and manage accounts for separate entities, insurance, and vendors. • Compare purchase orders: Verify purchase orders, prices, payment terms, and other charges for accuracy. • Optimize cash flow: Take advantage of early payment discounts and align payments with cash flow optimization goals. • Maintain vendor relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, negotiate payment terms, and address financial queries promptly. • Handle 1099 compliance: Ensure vendor payments are recorded and documented for tax purposes.

ProLogistix is hiring Turret Forklift Operators for full time employment at a NEW cold storage facility in Ridgeville. If you are looking for a team-oriented environment where good performance and attendance are rewarded and there are opportunities for advancement this may be the job for you!   

This is a high skill level position that requires the utmost in safe forklift operation. You will be operating a turret truck to load and unload cases and pallets in a cold storage warehouse. The turret has a cab and is climate controlled—but the warehouse is cold. In some areas the temperature may be right around zero. Safety is critical!

Shifts

• 1st Shift:  Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to DONE
• 2nd Shift:  Monday – Friday 3:00 PM to DONE

Pay Rate Starts at $20.00 per hour

Job Duties as a Turret Forklift Operator for ProLogistix:

• Unload and load pallets with fresh and frozen food from trucks using forklifts
• Stack and store pallets in warehouse racking using forklifts
• unloading by hand, repalletizing products, and wrapping as needed for storage or export
• Ensure product is palletized correctly and safely according to regulatory guidelines
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation
• Follow all safety guidelines
