Description:

A manufacturing/ production operator contributes to the success of setting up and operating assigned machines and statistical scales to pack the optimum number of quality packages of product. You can expect to be working on your feet the entirety of your shift near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. Manufacturing facilities are also large. Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

• Operates and monitors machinery used in the production process

• Assist in set-up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate code dates, weights, and that products are put into appropriate bags.

• Participate in periodical activities such assisting with the cycle counts and physical inventories

• Check that products are dated and sealed with a minimum amount of wasted product and supplies.
