Job Description 

• Must be ready to work at 8:00am for truck drivers are there to pick up materials for that day, usually before 8:00am
•  Sit-down propane forklift, on fork only 30% of the time- some experience with side load for flatbed trucks ( 3years + experience required) 
• RF Scanner
•  Pick/pack, shipping/receiving
•  This position includes manual loading and unloading 40% of the time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to un-pack and repack pallets/skids
•  Basic Math, Must be able to add and subtract
•  Shrink Wrap
•  Training with Team Lead

Client in ElkGrove is looking for a Warehouse Lead for 2nd shift 1:30pm-10:00pm $20! 

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible to manage the daily activities of Inbound or Outbound for compliance orders to major retailers, Wholesale department, and Parcel Loadout. They are required to provide superior customer service, working efficiency, safety, and at lowest cost. This individual will provide leadership as well as motivating, training, and developing the team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:    

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with shipping, storing, moving, trans loading, and inventory of products returned from our clients and their partners.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow by working alongside assigned staff.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Advises employees on care of goods received, stored, and shipped; proper use and care of equipment; and related problems.
• Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety; maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with other supervisors and/or managers to determine timetable required to ensure product is loaded and readied for shipment on a timely basis.
• Executes tasks as needed in a ‘lead by example’ manner. 
• Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
